Mentorship

Being a Christian is not easy. Scripture constantly affirms this. We are called to take up our cross and follow Jesus daily (Luke 9:23). However, God has called those that are older to invest in those that are younger in order to teach them, equip them, and build them as they work to look more and more like Jesus. Paul tells the church in Corinth, “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ” (1 Corinthians 11:1). Those that are older in our church, or any church for that matter, typically have been walking with Christ longer than those younger than themselves. Thus, they have gained greater wisdom through their mistakes, successes, and encounters with Jesus. Therefore, we believe they need to pour that wisdom into the younger generation in order to live a life honoring and pleasing to God.

If you’re interested in joining into a mentor relationship or if you’re interested in becoming a mentor, you can go to the connect desk Sunday morning before and after church or you can send an email to Anthony Gee.

Redemption Classes

Classes provide an opportunity for people to gain deeper biblical knowledge and applicational wisdom in a social, interactive environment. Each Redemption congregation provides their own selection of classes. The topics, format, and timing of the classes are determined by the leaders of the respective congregations and vary from one to the other.

Internships

Each year we do an internship from August through May. We are beginning a new summer internship from May through August. Both of these internships are times where a handful of people come together to learn, serve, and grow. It is a snapshot into ministry, where our interns will get a look into every part of making a church plant work. This time is formative whether you are looking to go into ministry or not.

Now's your chance! We are so excited to study Jackie Hill Perry’s, Jude, with each of you. We are going to press into what it means to contend for the faith in today's culture through Jackie’s study on Jude.

Groups will range from 5-15 women per home study, and we will assign groups based on when the form was filled out and returned. REGISTRATION CLOSES JANUARY 22nd. To register for the Spring 2024 Bible Study, click here.
