There is an orphan crisis around the world. Children who have lost parents, been abandoned by parents, or been taken out of dangerous environments, are in need of stable homes and loving families. Therefore we, the people of God, must lead the way in recognizing this great need and stepping up to meet it.
We are passionate about the health and wholeness of all people and believe that professional counseling is one way that God meets us and draws us towards living more complete, purposeful, and healed lives.
We believe that God designed us to be in relationship with one another and that there is simply no substitute for doing life with others in a shared pursuit of honoring God. Redemption Communities (RC's) provide a context for people to live out their faith in the support, accountability, and stretching that is inherent in community.
Classes provide an opportunity for people to gain deeper biblical knowledge and applicational wisdom in a social, interactive environment. Each Redemption congregation provides their own selection of classes. The topics, format, and timing of the classes are determined by the leaders of the respective congregations and vary from one to the other.
Each year we have a school year long and summer time internship. Both internships are times to grow in relationship with Christ and each other as well as get a taste of different ministry areas throughout the church.
Every year, in June, we go to Guatemala to partner with Champions in Action in helping run a soccer camp for inner city youth! Champions in Action uses soccer as a vessel to reach children with the Gospel
We are a sent people. As the church we are not called to turn inward and build our own kingdom. We are called to turn outward and give ourselves to the spread of the Gospel, the establishment of healthy local churches, and the multiplication of disciples. This is a call to invest beyond our church, beyond our tribe, and beyond our generation. We don’t care who gets the credit, only that Jesus is glorified.
