Michael was born and raised in California, and moved to Flagstaff in 2010 to attend NAU’s Physical Therapy program. He and his wife, Leah, joined Redemption Flagstaff in 2013. A few of the ways they have served includes leading Redemption Communities, premarital counseling, and serving as a Deacon. He and his wife have been married since 2004 and have two kids.
Michael has a passion for knowing and loving God and is continually in awe of God’s love and grace for broken and sinful people like himself. He loves studying the Bible, reading theology, and sharing his passion for these things with individuals and in small group settings. He has a heart for putting faith in action – especially through worship, prayer, church community, acts of mercy, and all those one-another Bible verses.
He enjoys hiking, running, mountain biking, backpacking, exploring new places with his family, reading, and oil painting.
