9.13.15 Redemption Kids

This week we read about the Pharisees trying to trick Jesus into saying something bad so people wouldn’t like him. However, Jesus told the people to give the government what belongs to them and give God what belongs to Him. Since we are made in God’s image, we should give ourselves and our lives to God, while still respecting the leaders around us.

Our memory verse this week is:

Mark 12:17 “Jesus said to them, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” And they marveled at him.”

Our craft this week was:

Decorate a paper person or a stick figure to represent you and remind yourself that you are made in God’s image.
