Welcome to our Sunday Recap. If you missed our service this Sunday or are just looking for another expression of our corporate worship, scroll through this post and click the links for each element. Participate freely and worship a worthy God.

CALL TO WORSHIP

This week Anna Singleton described to us the free gift of salvation we received from Christ, as described in Romans 6.  She talked about how even though we were once slaves, Christ has freed us.  This should stir our hearts toward worship.

 COMMUNITY

Greeting Time and Announcements:

Each week we pray for another local congregation knowing that we are just a part of the gospel answer to Flagstaff. This week we prayed for Ben Selay. Ben has been a huge part of our congregation, serving, meeting with people, and always in our community. He is moving to Yuma so we prayed and commissioned him out. Please joing us in prayer for Ben and his next steps!

COMMUNION & RESPONSE

Each week we respond to the truth of God’s word in four ways.

Communion:

On the night that Jesus was arrested he broke bread and drank wine with his disciples symbolizing the body that was broken and the blood that was poured out on the cross. Take the time to remember that Jesus died for the sins of those who would trust in him.

BENEDICTION

May we, having been blessed by God and called his people, go and be a blessing to the city of Flagstaff, living as first fruits of the Kingdom of God for God’s glory. Amen.

REFLECTION QUESTION

This week, take some time to ask God to search your heart and mind.  We see that David asked God to do this in Psalm 139:23-24. Ask God to show you any sin in you, so that you may realize how much you need him.
