“Shout for joy in the LORD, O you righteous! Praise befits the upright. Give thanks to the LORD with the lyre; make melody to him with the harp of ten strings! Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts.” – Psalm 33:1-3

ASSURANCE OF GRACE

Greeting Time and Announcements:

Each week we pray for another local church in town because we believe we are not the gospel answer to Flagstaff but that God is using all his Christian churches to redeem the city.

This week we prayed for Andie Szyman and the her family as the grieve the unexpected loss of her dad. We pray that they will find peace and find love from their community. We pray that they are able to find an overwhelming amount of piece in this season of sorrow.

COMMUNION & RESPONSE

Each week we respond to the truth of God’s word in four ways.

COMMUNION:

On the night that Jesus was arrested He broke bread and drank wine with His disciples symbolizing His body that was broken and the blood that was poured out on the cross. Take some time to remember that Jesus died for the sins of those who would trust in Him.

SINGING:

Be Still My Soul

Jesus Paid It All

Build Your Kingdom Here

BENEDICTION

May we, having been blessed by God and called His people, go and be a blessing to the city of Flagstaff, living as first fruits of the Kingdom of God for His glory. Amen.

REFLECTION QUESTION

Take some time this week and think about the places you allow your corrupting speech to come out of your mouth. How can you put on encouragement instead?
